Colder Weather Brings Its Own Sinus Concerns
If you suffer from a variety of nasal problems brought on by the colder weather, you are not alone. Runny nose, congestion, facial pressure, and headaches are among some of the symptoms people develop during the fall and winter seasons.
Those who suffer from persistent runny nose, nasal and sinus congestion, and post-nasal drip during the fall may have a condition called rhinitis. This may be caused by seasonal allergies.
During the winter, it is more common for people to suffer from acute sinusitis, which develops after your sinuses become blocked and an infection takes root. The symptoms are very similar to the common cold, such as a stuffy or runny nose, facial pressure, headache, sore throat, and cough.
